Help! I lost my pet ants! I bought one of those ant farms recently. A large, deluxe version. I watched my pet ants dig & dig until they built themselves a large, underground home. A lavish network of tunnels & caverns. It was very impressive! And I could tell they were very happy in there. It was home, sweet home for them.
But then disaster struck! I went to see how they were doing, & was totally shocked to see that my ant farm was empty. My beloved ants had escaped! I don't know how they got out, but they did. I was devastated! And still am. They were my best friends. I treated them with tender, loving care, so I don't know why they took off. It must have been something I did. Or didn't do.
Please, if you see a bunch of ants in the neighborhood that look like they're lost & confused, they're probably my ants. And they're probably homesick by now. They have a major sweet tooth, so if you see them, please give them something sweet to eat, like some sugar or a candy bar even. Please contact me & I'll come get them right away. Tell them not to worry. Tell them Daddy will come get them & bring them home.
It would really help if you would keep them relaxed & calm until I come get them. So if you would, please read to them, to keep them entertained until I arrive. They love both short stories & novels. Especially Stephen King. They just love Stephen King. In fact, I may have forgotten to read to them the night before they escaped, so their feelings may have been hurt. Maybe that's why they took off. Tell them I'm very sorry, & that it will never happen again. Tell them Daddy will make it up to them. Thanks!
