Please help! I lost my pet fly! I only just got him. I had him in a nice, clean jar. But the lid was loose & he got out. I think he flew out the window. He's probably still in the neighborhood. But I'm desperate to find him right away, because he has a very limited lifespan.
He was just so cute the way he buzzed at me whenever I got close to him. I knew we had a connection. I would talk to him for hours every day. He would just sit there on the wall of the glass jar, listening patiently. And occasionally buzzing at me in approval. He was my best friend. I never realized how loving & intelligent flies are until I met him.
Please, if anybody sees a fly in the house, don't swat it! It might be my pet fly. Just try to catch him. It helps if you talk to him, too. Tell him his daddy misses him, & he's going home. Please help me find my pet fly before it's too late. I really miss him.
