So you can watch them anytime you want, at your convenience, with NO streaming problems. These animated shorts are playable on any media player that can play DivX® movies in .avi format. Each one could be thought of as a major, motion picture event. OK, they're just short, animated, comedy mini-features created on one computer, by a single animator. The animation isn't quite cutting edge. It's far from it. But it is computer animation, with quality entertainment in mind. These movies are YOURS. Keep them on your computer. Watch them anytime you want. Watch them alone, watch them with friends, share them with friends. What's the catch? There is none! System requirements These free .avi movie downloads are playable on any media player that can play DivX® movies. They are specifically created to be run on the vast majority of computers, including old machines. You probably need at least 350Mhz & 128Mb of RAM. These free comedy movies should work with ANY operating system. So, Windows 2000, XP, or Vista. Or the Mac OS. And almost ANY of the latest Linux distros should already include a media player that is able to play them. If you don't have DivX®, on your computer, you can download it for free by clicking the button below. It's about an 8Mb download. Many feel that DivX is the best video codec. It delivers high quality video & sound for a LOW amount of data. In Windows®: With DivX installed, you can do a few, simple things to maximize the playback quality. In the DivX folder, click on the DivX subfolder, then click on Config.exe. A small box will pop up that says Decoder Properties. Click on Quality Settings. You'll see several small checkboxes for options. If the Smooth Playback box isn't checked, click on it. Also, click on Double Buffering & Disable Logo. With Double Buffering on, your playback will be even smoother, especially if you have an older computer. With Disable Logo turned on, you won't see the DivX logo, which is put there by the player, not the movie. The latest DivX codec has the following, minimum system requirements for Windows®: A computer with at least a Pentium 3 @ 733Mhz. If you're still using an old operating system like Windows 98, or are using a computer that's slower than 733Mhz, check out some of the FREE media players that can play DivX movies on your computer. One popular media player is the VLC Media Player, available at VideoLan.org. This media player runs well on older machines, & tested fine @ only 366Mhz. It's roughly 9Mb, & you can download it for free by clicking the button below. It installs quickly & easily in only 1 minute. The VLC Media Player is fast, easy to use, works on almost ALL machines, & plays almost ALL multimedia formats. It's an open source player that can play MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX movies, & Quicktime movies. It can also play the DVD & VCD video formats. And, it can play audio formats like .mp3, Ogg, & CD audio. | |||
