Technology continues to advance more & more rapidly. And robotics technology is at the forefront of this advancement. "Robot Friends" addresses the nature of robotics. Specifically, it deals with the ramifications of technological advancement, & the complex, social interactions between 2 generations of robots. Or something like that. This epic movie is a major, motion picture event. OK, it's just a short comedy movie about 2 robots. It's a free internet download. A computer animated, comedy mini-feature. This parody is about obsolete technology. And what happens when new technology arrives to take its place. "Robot Friends" is about a friendly, technology presentation. One robot features the latest, state of the art robotics. The other one is its predecessor, the previous generation of robots. According to robotics theory, robots must behave exactly as they are programmed to do so. And technological advancement can produce a state of the art robot that's vastly superior to the previous generation. At least, that's the theory. |
