A photographer who lived his life on the edge, & who prided himself on pushing boundaries & taking risks. This picture is proof that not only did he push those boundaries, but he went way beyond them!

This amazing image was obtained by using a special, high tech camera which can take pictures of extremely high speed objects. Like a bullet. This camera takes many thousands of pictures every second. The picture you see here on this page was the best one.

Many were skeptical that this picture could be taken. Especially one as clear as this one. But here it is. The proof is in the picture. This is an actual photograph of a high speed bullet in flight! A hunting rifle with a scope was used by an expert marksman. The bullet was fired directly at the camera for maximum dramatic effect. This is a picture of something no human eye would ever be able to see.

Unfortunately, taking risks can be risky. And sometimes bad things happen to good people. Immediately after the bullet was fired, it occurred to everyone that the photographer should not have been standing right behind the camera, in the path of the bullet. Sadly, he was killed while taking this photograph. But he died doing what he loved to do. And sharing this exciting, daring picture gives his life meaning. He would have been proud. And the picture sure is cool!
